So I haven't put anything on here in like, forever. No particular reason why, I'm just lazy I guess. :XD: Maybe a little uninspired too. Not sure how to edit this journal skin without ruining it, so, yeah, I'll just leave it how it is and make myself look really stupid for the sake of using a fancy dancy skin. :meow:
For me, it's been quite a wonderful summer so far, and it's really depressing that over half of my vacation is gone.. :( 3 years of school left... Eww. I hope it goes by quickly. I don't care that people say I'll eventually regret not embracing high school, but I want some freedom. Like, to go skydiving or something! Nah, probab

I haven't been in a very good mood. For awhile. I know it's selfish to bring people down with a constant bad attitude, but it seems that every time I'm happy, I realize that the things I hope for aren't destined for me to have, and I completely crash. It's stupid, I have so many things provided for me. A home, food, water. I'd see things much differently if I didn't always have basic nesscesities. But, a good friend, or probably now, a former friend, once told me, that true happiness is being at peace with yourself. I just want to find that peace. I need to, for everyone.

It's Kind of Weird...

So, I've come to the realization that many people my age can't see the big picture, and that most of our problems are insignificant and will not affect our future. Maybe I should live in the moment more, but is it so hard to just open your eyes for once? This frustrates me sometimes, but there's always one thought that makes me smile... I've got to cut this short, pork chops for dinner. Yum! :)
